Free Consultation for Low Income Taxpayers

I heard of this clinic that offers assistance to low income taxpayers. I am not affiliated with it and have not used it, but wanted to share information about it with you. It is the Rutgers School of Law- Newark Federal Tax Clinic.

Law students at Rutgers Law School (in Newark) are authorized to represent law income taxpayers without charge in disputes with the IRS regarding an IRS audit, a conference with an IRS appeals officer or district counsel, or a trial in US Tax Court.
